How to format hard drives using command prompt?



Command Prompt – how to execute the Command
1.       First press windows button + R at the same time
2.       Type cmd in the pop up box that follow and press Enter
3.       While in command prompt, type diskpart and press Enter
4.         Select the desired HD (be careful at this stage) and press Enter
5.       Type clean and press Enter
6.       Type create partition primary and press Enter
7.       Type format fs=ntfs
8.       Wait for the process to complete
9.       Type exit and press Enter
